I first want to say that I really like ur videos and I watched this one and the only criticism that I have is the way you are lifting the weights(around 10 minutes) If you do the same thing but bending your knees more and keeping your back straight(not bending over) you get the same results and you don’t have to stretch your lower back afterwards and it’s safer. You are working just as much without the extra unneeded pain. Other than that the workout was great!! Keep up the good work

You feel that a professional “standing near me” is going to be able to tell what my heart rate is and how many calories Im burning better than a monitor with an electrode strapped under my heart?

LOL, well you’re standing up moving. Nonetheless, different people according to their level of fitness, age and weight will burn calories at different rates. You used something you saw on TV as your barometer for how many calories a show says was burned… NOT a good start. All I said was do your research. I’m the person WITH the HR monitor telling you from the exercises I did 1,000 calories was burned during this workout. This is not hearsay or hollywood. This is firsthand. Do you doubt that?
You equate cross country skiing to just standing up? Perhaps you should do your research..I just hate it when people blindly tell others about calorie burning and health..I’d go on, but I guess it’s pointless.
Help me out @Walk. Do a little research on Polar heart rate monitors and then come back. I trust my $269 piece of machinery. I’m not a big perspirer. I simply dont sweat much no matter what I’m doing. I don’t even wear deodorant. Cross country skiing burns more than 1,000 calories per hour and you’re just standing up. Please do a little research before contributing opinion. My being out of shape also burns more calories. And I stated this in the video.

Usually, even if its an hour long, those kind of exercises don’t burn 1000 calories (don’t rely so heavily on that calculation method), especially with so many rests in between; the people on the biggest loser work up to 6 hours each day and burn 4000 plus calories doing crazy workouts..perhaps you should have a professional stand by so its more accurate…it should at least be visible that you’re dripping in sweat..and you’d be too winded to talk..
Im wearing a heart rate monitor which shows how many beats per minute my heart is beating and according to that, mulitplied by my age and the duration of the exertion, it shows how many calories have been burned. I didnt explain this in the video?
