    all falcon 6s are inline

  2. andgate2000 says:

The head is alloy, the block cast iron, the sump magnezium. It WILL be replaced by a V6 for the next Falcon , thats if fords economics dont dictate a move to a new imported car.

  3. andgate2000 says:

I6 will be replaced by a V6 for the next Falcon (if the falcon is still biult then). Fords economics might dictate an american import.

mmm well the pressure on the discharge of the turbo “cold side” its proportionally augmented by the pressure in the “hot side”, so If you lose heat on the header you will lose pressure on the “hot side”, wich makes a loss of power on the “cold side”.

Actually on the engine bench, the outside temperature its colder than inside of an engine bay… so it will lose heat at a bigger transfer rate… so its all the way around of your point of view.

  6. lobzdik says:

    whaaaa?
    i thought falcons were V6??
Are all Falcons I6 or just the XR6T?

  7. damn16v says:

the were planning on scrapping the i6engine and importing a v6 full alloy engine from the states, for falcon in 2011 thank god they have scrapped that idea, this i6 enginge has a lot of potential

  8. kahn4218 says:

you should realise that this has little effect due to it not being in an engine bay

  9. lobzdik says:

yea, i heard they;re replacing the block to though, not sure when but…

  10. bluexvalor says:

Yes, thats the due to the camera mic not being able to pick up the sound freq. of the turbo

  11. logesdotcom says:

    that heat is nuts….

  12. damn16v says:

sorry dude but the head and sump is alloy the blocks are still cast iron , even the current fg

reading the coments shredbucketheadshred posted a week ago ( A V6 Nissan ) WTF do u know its out of a ba falcon onwards sold in au there are heaps of them an they come out turboed its a FORD

  14. edgarinv says:

I think you must read a few more books about materials science, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Fluids mechanics.

There is a lot of turbulence on the point where all tubes joint, thats why this is the point where you find the hottest temperature, actually you can see it.

I think you must read a few more books about turbo’s and exhausts…

  16. edgarinv says:

I think thats a bad disign on the header, thats a lot of power loss by heat

  17. edgarinv says:

    yes, maybe explode

  18. budgray18 says:

lol wouldnt that make it crack

  19. mattxr6turbo says:

    fuckin oath thats sik

  21. Manttan09 says:

Dam That was faking hot lol

  22. edgarinv says:

mmmm did anyone “felt” the noise like near to your right ear… like static….

i want to throw a glass of cold water to that exhaust

  23. peejaa says:

If you could understand what is going on inside that engine right now it would blow your mine!

  24. czelol says:

haha then go poor ice cold water on to the pipes haha
