Well yeah I can imagine it being exciting, I mean it’s just a teenager car now. The automakers are failing now because they have so many brands with cars that look the same.
At some point, Sunbird WAS exciting. Well, to me at least. I still remember my very first car. The brand new 92 Sunbird. I wanted the partially hidden headlight equipped GT but I couldn’t since I just could not spend much on a new car, but to me, Sunbird was hot once. Best of all, it wasn’t a 100% re-badge of the Chevy crap. Re-Skinned inside and front and rear, that made it different, rather than all that re-badging craps going on now.
I’m sorry you feel that way asswipe. You probably drive a Ford Pinto or a little Honda Civic. They make 4 cylinders very powerful these days. You are probably some pathetic redneck that lives at home with his parents.
call it a V6, that’s one of the most idiotic statements I’ve ever heard, if it doesn’t have 6 cylinders, why call it a V6??? Hell, lets just call it a V8 since it makes as much power as some of the SMOG ERA V8′s GM put out during the 70′s and 80′s!?!?!?!?!?!
I agree that they should bring back the Firebird and maybe the Fiero. I have the 2008 Pontiac G5 GT and it has more horsepower and torque than any Fiero GT ever made. It has 171 horsepower and 167 lbs of torque compared to the Fiero’s V6 engine with 135 horsepower and 160 lbs of torque. The G5 GT is a very beautiful car and very fast for a 2.4 four cylinder engine. You might as well call it a V6 with its quick burst and growling engine.
Man these were the good times when Pontiac did build excitement! Pontiac was the best american car company out there in the 80s because they had the Trans Am-(my personal fav), Grand Am, Fiero, and only the Grand Prix is still in production. Pontiac should drop the minivan and the G5 and start making Trans Ams and Fieros again! Long live Pontiac!!
i love Pontiac well ones from 80s and 90s some 70s were cool to but mosley 80s i like the Sunbird they were nice but if it had any trouble sunbirds were picky at maintaining not as bad as the tarus but still picky
The Pontiac Dealership in Grand Rapids, MI used this music in every on air commercial from 1987-1996. I can almost hear the commercial now…. Orsen E Coe Pontiac GMC
I heard that GM is going to keep Pontiac as a niche brand, I hope that means they make performance cars like these at an affordable price, what the hell was GM thinking letting them make a minivan???
pontiac sux now all the legends, grand prix, grand am,bonnevile, firebird are all gone and mundane shitmobiles are their replacemens pontiac deserves to die with the dignity it has left..

Best commercial EVER. Always makes me want to go take my Fiero for a drive.

Ah the 1980′s, when Pontiac had some sort of purpose and real product lineup.
Man they really should put this kind of entertainment back onto car commercials…oh well.

The 80′s rocked. I remember that commercial.

Yeah I’m going to riot if Pontiac goes away! I love my Grand Prix!
Man…how cool…if Pontiac goes away due to the economic downturn, I am gonna be very, very sad! I have owned three Pontiacs and all were great cars!
