I personally disagree with abortion, but outlawing it will not stop it. In fact, it will never even be outlawed because so many Republicans get abortions in private.

There are many accounts from abortion doctors of seeing protesters getting abortions, and then going back out to the picket line the next day. And they have even requested special treatment, like being snuck in so their fellow protestors won’t see them.

If the majority of America wanted abortion outlawed, it would be by now.

  2. Drummydrum says:

The idea that rich white people don’t get abortions is silly. They do, and then they go about their carefree lives. Making the same options available to the poor is *not* an attempt to kill off certain races.

So many rich white people get abortions, in fact, that that is one of the main reasons it is still legal.

  3. Drummydrum says:

The reason planned parenthood sets up in poor communities is because that is where it is needed most. People who are poor and unlikely to go to college, have no chance of going when 3 or 4 kids are added to the equation. Having children that you can’t support becomes both a poverty trap and a government dependency trap.

As much as Republicans gripe about people being dependent on government programs, having many children is probably the #1 cause of this dependency.

I know they don’t trust old white conservatives, it’s pretty much ha given…so? What’s your point?

They don’t like a Michael Steele thrown in their face. Gotcha! Like I said before…lets put emphasis on racial issues even when they’re completely irelevant and then cry about inequality.

I think the fact that there exists such a schism is a sign of progess. Liberals just want to contain the self loathing sentiments espoused by the media and by their own party.
    Ironic.

Well I guess the same way Italian Americans take pride in being Italian Americans. Afrocentricity is the same thing. Ignoring your obvious attempt to make a talking point, I was just trying to say why alot of blacks(we are talking 98% of them) would not vote for McCain. they dont trust older white conservative men. It is a fact. I grew up in Baltimore around blacks and whites my entire life. They dont like having their intelligence insulted by having a Michael Steele thrown in their face.

  17. regelemihai says:

Yeah, it’s called pragmatism and maturity, instead of these issues that are used as complete red herrings such as political correctness and “Afrocentricity.” (what does that even mean?)

They do things to promote important things, not cutsie stuff many libs put emphasis on.

    Afrocentricity….sheesh.

  18. brockimon24 says:

Well the parties switched ideologies. We are not arguing black republican or dem or lib or con. I think most black republican/conservatives are considered uncle toms because they almost never do anything to promote Afrocentricity and the republican party often uses guys like a Michael Steele to say “hey we’re cool we have one of you” Most people just dont trust older white conservative men. My GM is conservative but voted dem simply because she doesnt trust tppl in the party. from past exp

That is why I voted for Alan Keyes. He was the only candidate out of all of them that just wanted to enforce the constitution. Plus it pissed the liberal race-guilt crowd that I was voting conservative and when they tried their guilt trip I told them I was still voting for a black man. It left them dumbfounded every time. when they didn’t know who Keyes was, I asked them why I should believe their “facts” they researched if they didn’t know who one of the most important diplomats in America was
