Dont think so, theres no warranty stickers that get broken.

just 1 I believe. That’s why you need to swap. plus, I think 2GB is the max it can handle.

is it possible to switch from hdd to ssd and does ssd plug into where the hard drive slot is or what sorry im sort of a noob when it comes to ssd and hdd understanding i know whats the diff between them im just not sure if they both connect by sata or not excuse my stupidity if its a stupid question

ddr2 pc5300 667hz worked fine for me.

Just looking at this video makes me want to get the Eee 1000 more than the Aspire One, due to the much simpler procedure to upgrade the RAM and Hard Drive.

i heard that upgrading the memory doesn’t but i am not 100% sure about the hard drive.

Well 1Gb should be fine, however, because currently RAM is at Rock Bottom prices, its a good upgrade to get.
im thinking about getting one of these but is 2 gigs of memory really beneficial if u just want to use it for surfing the web, microsoft office, and listening to music?
