So just how was he supposed to ‘spin it’?

I suppose you think the same of Mao and Stalin.

  2. robbieemmm says:

Marx created communism but did not spin it like the facist rulers did.
His theory may not work but Karl Marx was a GOOD man.

  3. sensitiveohmy2 says:

John Mccain left his first wife with bed sores. Now he want to lead the country. Listen if you vote vote for change. Eight years of bullshit is enough. No more, No more, do whats right for yourself, children and future grandchildren. Go tomorrow and vote Obama/Biden 08, you will be proud you did!

WHAT? There’s not a soul in Chicago that thinks he’s a self-made man.

You’re SO naive for falling for that BS in his TWO autobiographies. Which, oh by the way, the first of which scientific analysis concludes was at least partially ghost-written, and certainly heavily edited by, none other than Mr. Evil himself, Bill Ayers.

He was sponsored in his early years by Bill Ayers and Emil Jones.

NOBODY in Chicago machine politics is ‘self-made’.

WTF?? You have a talent for stating the obvious — only it’s not the TRUTH that the Obama ‘Truth Squads’ are interested in — it’s shutting down dissent! A taste of things to come, if the Marxist Messiah is elected.

You say you offer an “alternative to the media” on your web site by offering this drivel — but what you are really doing is auditioning for a media job — your biases are already evident. You’d fit in well at the AP with a few more years of college.

    I love this video
THIS IS THE WAY REPUBLICANS ARE FIGHTING.
I was watching fox and i cant believe the bullshit its only about Obama Obama,s aunt Obama taxes and taking small quotes from a long interview and making him look bad they know there is nothing they can do SO THEY ARE TRYING TO BRING HIM DOWN.
I cant believe them this is not journalism they have picked a side its sooo obvious.

  7. Plisko1 says:

Guess what. People have a right to defend the truth. If they sue, they are proving the truth in a court of law which is the highest standard of truth discovery we have.

Why do you hate the idea of defending the truth? If something is untrue someone should have the chance to prove it. I think you make fun of suing people because you couldn’t prove half the crap you say in court, which is the one place where your slime and innuendo won’t stand up to real fact finding.

  8. Plisko1 says:

You are talking about someone who was accepted into the special forces and served his country honorably. I am amazed at your ability to select which veterans deserve to be defended and which ones should be attacked. It must just be a coincidence that the ones who you disagree with are all the dishonorable kind of veteran.

I don’t need to defend Ted Sampley. He can defend himself. Meanwhile, if you read McCain’s Wikipedia entry most of the same stuff I used is in there too.

  9. Plisko1 says:

LOL. Coming from someone defending John McCain and his Karl Rove posse that’s truly hilarious. Where were you when they were passing out purple heart band aids to make fun of a veterans wounds?

I thought conservatives were supposed to like it when people stood up and punched back. I guess that’s just a myth.

  10. Plisko1 says:

Considering how far over there on the Right you are (spewing text book far right spittle) it is no surprise that people in the center look like radical leftists to you.

  11. Plisko1 says:

You’re attacking people politically and you are attacking other vets from behind the shield of serving the constitution yourself. It is disturbing hypocrisy.

  12. Plisko1 says:

It’s very cute that you think you speak for everybody. That’s still not a very good cover for not knowing what you were talking about, though.

  13. yeahlikewhatever says:

Obamas lawyers twice demanded the Department of Justice investigate and prosecute the American Issues Project, its officers, board of directors, and donors. The campaign also threatened stations running American Issues Projects ad in an unsuccessful attempt to compel them to pull an ad spot, and ran its own ad in response.

  14. yeahlikewhatever says:

‘”quoting someone” means slander from the someone.’

But quoting someone engaging in slander does not subject you to libel for reporting it! You’ve been spending too much time with those Obama Truth Squads — you think like them!

  15. yeahlikewhatever says:

Everybody knows RS is a left-wing rag that’s always ‘in the tank’ for Democrats. I’ll bet Bill Ayers still has a subscription…

Anyway when I said most of us grew out of reading RS, I was referring to the sentiment behind this quote:

“The man who is not a socialist at twenty has no heart, but if he is still a socialist at forty he has no head”

    – fmr. French Prime Minister Aristide Briand, a recovered socialist

Of course not everyone grows up.

  16. yeahlikewhatever says:

“service experience as some kind of authority to attack people politically”

You got that wrong. I use my experience as a vet to defend another vet from an attack by a crackpot.

    DUTY HONOR COUNTRY

    SERVICE BEFORE SELF

  17. yeahlikewhatever says:

HA! Is that the best defense you can come up with?

Just go to the CPUSAdotCOM web site look up ‘bill of rights socialism’.

It reads like the DNC platform.

Radical leftists have taken over the Democratic Party — Pelosi, Reid, Obama.

They’re trying to change our system of gov’ment from capitalist to socialist. The underlying theme is ‘redistribution of wealth’.

Read the Communist Manifesto, or the Little Red Book, or, for that matter, anything by your hero’s mentor Bill Ayers!

  18. yeahlikewhatever says:

“If you take the high road in a gun fight you just end up being shot in a lower place.”

Which explains the brazen dishonestly and lack of integrity shown in the production of this video.

  19. yeahlikewhatever says:

You seriously think the banking crisis was created by Republicans?

Can you name specific instances of “deregulation”?

Who created the CRA? Who beefed it up? Who’s all over YouTube promoting bad loans by Fannie Freddie? Who was plugging Fannie stock right up to the point of their collapse?

Who was caught lying Oct. 11th on HBO’s Real Time about taking contributions from Fannie Mae?

It’s easy to find out — all public record.

  20. yeahlikewhatever says:

Ted Sampley is a loose cannon of despicable character.

In the Iraq War he called the family of A-6 pilot Robert Wetzel and told them their son had been carved to pieces by an angry crowd of Iraqis, but “the Pentagon doesn’t want anybody to know this”.

Lt. Wetzel returned home intact — Sampley later unapologetically admitted he did it to “publicize the plight of MIA’s”.

He made money off promoting others’ suffering, and deserves the scorn of every respectable veteran.

  22. Plisko1 says:

“– B.S. That’s easy — just present it as ‘critics say’, quote someone else, or interview some dope-smoker crackhead musician”

“quoting someone” means slander from the someone. Some dope smoker speaking to RS is still vulnerable. He can be sued for slander and RS can be sued for libel for printing it.

You really don’t have any facts about who sues who or who does it more than others. You just made that up. That’s what you guys do. You live in fantasy lands and beat up fantasy people.

  23. Plisko1 says:

“Most of us grew out of reading RS in our late teens/early 20′s. So what’s your excuse?”

My excuse? My Excuse is that you make up the facts as you go along. The lowest number of readers of RS is the 18-24 age group. There are twice as many readers in ages 25-54. You see they need to know these things scientifically so that they can sell advertising. They even post the information online where people who actually want to know what they are talking about can look it up.

    What’s your excuse?

  24. Plisko1 says:

Ted Sampley and the work he did with the POW/MIA families led to people like McCain being released from the POW camps. His research work into Vietnam led to the identification of the remains at the “Tomb of the unknown soldier” and the Pentagon was forced to confirm it with tests because of the pressure he created.

How can you read people’s minds so easily and find out that they are just the people convenient to your argument? Why do you hate families of missing troops?
