I only bought it here for $199 (last year) but unfortunately it shoots up into $390 here in the Philippines when they found out that PSP 3000 cant be mod by dark alex coz its on the hardware not on the software!!! DEMAND RISES UP HERE N ANYWHERE! price starts from 14k (refurbished opened psp) slightly used brand new starts at 16 K— sorry people u should bought one psp before!! BTW, PSP 3000=CHINA no quality

jees why the hell is there hate on this thing. I just dont get it at all. this cant be a waste of money, and it aint, its vastly improved amongst every over PSP, and dont say you werent botheed with the sun facing the PSP, cus its obvious its shit, now you can see your gaming a LOT better. microphone wise, come on, that is brilliant, and I can picture there being games on the PSP that could USE this technology. simply put this is getting better, so how can it be a waste of money?

so they got a better screen…that helps a bit and the microphone..well it dosent really help much unless your in a wi-fi zone…so i think it’s a total waste of money so im not getting it

Sorry, i left out your other question. The picture quality on the PSP-3000 is more vibrant, meaning that the graphics will be the same but the colors will be more vivid and bright.

Yes, you can hook the PSP-3000 to your T.V. using the RCA cable (the red, white, and yellow chords). The chord comes with the PSP in the box.

if it is true that the psp3000 does,nt have memory stick input,will gamers feel like to watch movies,then they,re forced to buy movies on umd discs, wich will increase sony,s cash.
also it looks like that the psp not only becomes a multimedia system, but also a porteble phone,it should be easy done by updating new software.
