O…..M…….G. This gawd forsaken town actually kept that one-trick-pony? Born and raised here in this flakey town. It dosent take a neurologist to figure that San Diego kept him due to “If we cant win a Superbowl, attend or even win at anything, at least we have a physical trophey, one we can admire that has the most touchdowns”. He knows it and so does everyone else, he hasnt done nothing in years, and he ant doing nothing for 2009.
But for how long? He has already missed a full year on injury, yes he did play heroicly in place for LT but don’t think he can put that same output consistently without another back in front of him…I love Sproles as much as the next guy but still you can’t over use him, and San Diego does a brilliant job of utilizing him the way they do, a spotter at RB and Special teams
k sproles has done everything, i’d say that’s pretty complete. Westbrook just sucks, he was a good college back but now he’s just old.
Because they are based on average…seriously, Sproles is a great situational back/Special Teams guy, Westbrook is more of a complete back
Brian Westbrook is not a better running back than darren sproles. just look at the stats and see for yourself. ypc, 40yd, all stats are better for sproles

Yeah but he is alot more durable than Sproles, and can pound the rock a better than sproles…remember in pure RB situations, Sproles was nowhere…Im not a big Westbrook fan either but he is a beeter pure RB than sproles and I bleed for the Chargers…
