    but we dont

    china cheats in the omlypics…cheats in the starting ceremony…..think of fake fireworks ohh i swear they also beat up tibtens…..

    The olmpic games is one of biggiest insult to the impoverished people on this world.

    Before we spend 100s of billions of dollars on sparkling new stadiums why not help 1/6 of t he world that is still in poverty ?

    or do u prefer architectural monstrosities?

    i love the olympics for the simple fact that when they are going on,everyone seems to get along and we can watch such amazing athletes strive for gold and sometimes struggle knowing that 6 billion of us will be there to pick that back up for a second attempt or pat them on the back for a well-done no matter what place they earn. People around the world should learn we all need to love each other, help each other. Because when one of struggle,all of us struggle. We are all people, we are one.

    yeah thats what i have heard too. i sooo hope chicago gets it! everyone will be mad though thats for sure since everyone cares so much about politics when it comes to the candidate city.

    Also make sure you watch the men’s ice hockey tournament. The NHL takes a two-week break from their season so the best players in the world can play for their respective teams. So while during the NHL season, you might be playing against someone, but if they happen to be from the same country you could be playing with them against your NHL teammates in the Olympics.
